[PERSONAL] Our Catch Me Cover Won!

Guys! Remember the previous post where I said that HD Crew will perform at Korean Culture Day 2013 in Balairung Universitas Indonesia? Well, that day was already passed and guess what. HD CREW BECAME THE FIRST WINNER OF DANCE COVER COMPETITION!

Hahahaha~ I never thought that we would be the 1st winner. XD I was feeling down when I saw the audiences before I performed. You know, that kind of feelings which are called nervous and stage-sickness were suddenly flowing through my veins. I was thinking, "This is my dream. Could I make it as one of the best realities I ever had? Could I make the audiences happy? Could I give the best of me?" Yes. Such questions popped up in my mind. Yet to overcome that, I continuously walked around and blabbering nonsense. But strangely, when I stepped on the stage, I didn't feel nervous anymore. Moreover, the lighting effect and the smoky things on the stage were so awesome. Those boosted my mood. Then I hear the audience's cheer (well, of course they were cheering on the song we cover to) which made my mood was boosted up even more. After that, I realized that I need no worry as long as I enjoy the stage and as long as enjoy the stage, the audience will enjoy our performance too. And even there were flaws in our performance, we still enjoyed it. ^^

I was eating outside the building when our rival was on stage. I just hear the cheer and it was hilarious. I was feeling down again. My worries were back again. I suddenly felt the jealousy controlled me. Yes, the jealousy of the cheers they got. Well, do you know that sometimes, the performers and entertainers could be jealous of one another? I think, I was feeling that way. And of course, I worried that our performance couldn't satisfy the audiences as much as our rival do.

And then, the announcement time came! We all were called to the stage. Since there were only two finalists and one favorite winner (won by polling), of course, it will be our crew or the other one would be the winner. My crew were already accepted the fact that we were lacking here and there so we didn't even have enough bravery to think that we would be the 1st winner. And the MC started to call out the 2nd winner of dance cover competition. "And the 2nd winner goes to...," the MC said. As I hear the audiences near the stage calling out our name (as they hope the 2nd winner would be us), my mind also screaming out our crew's name, expecting us to be the 2nd winner. But then, the MC continued the announcement, "The 2nd winner goes to... EXOLITE! Congratulations HD Crew for becoming the 1st winner of dance cover competition!" The audiences were cheering and clapping, even louder than before. I saw my teammates' expressions, totally in shock, then started to teary. I saw my boyfriend standing far away and even jumping. All I could do was ... shocked ... and my mind was switched to blank mode. I thanked God and hugged my teammates. Then we bowed to the audiences. We also congratulated our rival. We stepped down the stage with overloaded happiness. This was our first victory.

All of these wouldn't be happened if we didn't practice hard and pray hard to God. We also couldn't be the winner without others' supports. Our families, our friends. Thank you! And also, thanks to TVXQ for bringing Catch Me so we could cover to it (and get many new friends after covering to it).
